Yoga Unify Qualification is a new paradigm of yoga education; a collaborative peer review process to involve the community collectively in assessment and in celebration. Competencies are based on more than academic quantification. The emphasis is on how equipped a professional is to guide a yoga experience, as a complement to hours studied. We expect that Qualified Professionals spend as much time practicing as teaching.
Qualification with Yoga Unify identifies you as a teacher who has committed to ethical behavior and been vetted by their peers for your level of knowledge, skill, and embodiment of root yoga competencies.
Please note: As of August 2021, we are in the process of beta-launching Qualifications with our Founding Circle Members. Clicking the button above will sign you up for a waitlist to be among the first in line when Qualifications open to the public in September.

All YU-QPs May Create Listings in our Professional Directory and the Yoga Unify Catalog.
What is the Professional Directory?
The publicly-accessible Professional Directory is a place for all YU-QPs to highlight their bios, photos, location, and contact information. It serves as a centralized database of ethically-bound, community-minded, highly-educated yoga professionals.
What is the Yoga Unify Catalog?
To preserve the tradition of yoga, Yoga Unify is applying structure around a wide variety of yoga study pathways to create more accessibility to the new student, and more refinement of study to the advanced student or professional. This allows for professionals to focus on their area of increased specialization, and provides students an opportunity to self-direct their yoga studies to include a wide range of modalities beyond asana.
As a Yoga Unify Qualified Professional (YU-QP), your Professional Directory listing will link to the Yoga Unify Catalog. The YU Catalog is a database of high-quality yoga offerings made available to the YU community. It will be referenced by YU advisors to nurture individuals on a lifelong learning journey, so that it serves as an educational roadmap, where students may easily assess the next steps on a personal yoga journey, and be guided to the teacher they are most seeking.
After your Qualification process is complete, you will be asked to add your professional offerings to the YU Catalog. For instance, if you offer a yoga workshop, drop it in the Catalog. If you offer a yoga teacher training, describe it in the Catalog. If you received a program grant and are ready to share your experience-based curriculum, delineate it in the Catalog. The YU Catalog is easily-searchable by the teacher, type of yoga, level of study, date, and location (including virtual), and various descriptors of the educational offering.
The Catalog is a powerful tool for those seeking yoga education beyond certification, supporting lifelong studentship and the profession. We are actively developing cataloguing criteria so that continued education is navigable in the broad sea of yoga offerings.
I am impressed and moved by its mission to change the way people are able to navigate through the complex roadmap which is modern-day yoga. Yoga Unify is a very thorough and well thought out system of making growth accessible to many different people on many different paths.
